PROJECT SCOPE:
- Film & Edit: 10 Educational Videos ~1hr runtime each
- Film & Edit: 4 Musical Performances (3 songs, Multiple Cam)
- Create Cohesive/Crisp Video & Social Media Graphics Package
- Create Transition Collateral (used between speakers/performers w/ OBS Live Video Switching to a remote audience over zoom).
PROCESS & PROCEDURE:
Non profit client wants a clean but also a bold look.They provide a color palette that may in fact rival The United Colors of Benetton and the task at hand is to work 5 colors: purple, orange, green, pink, blue into a cohesive graphics package using photo assets from a wide range of quality & resolution provided by vendors, sponsors, & the client. The challenge was met by primarily using both gradients & solid color backgrounds, foreground drop shadows, and compatible fonts -juxtaposing type by varying line thickness & creating negative space to reveal layers underneath the stacking order on the timeline.
Client wanted super simple text animations and photo hero animations. The goal was to balance the visuals but not distract from the educational content. Project files are scaffolded dynamically. Thus updating the text in any text editor program, or say updating a photo in a filesystem would then dynamically populate in after effects. This made graphics generation lightning fast and on-the-fly. This provided a bulletproof strategy compatible with inbound TBD assets and accommodating any last minute additions or change requests.
